How Omega 3 Fatty Acids
in Food or Supplement Form
On the following pages, we are going discuss how omega-3 fatty acids may help in improving or preventing certain ailments*. This is for informational purposes only, and we do recommend that you do further research and consult with your doctor before making any changes. All these recommendations have been reported as useful and effective, but you need to keep in mind that we all have different bodies and we all heal in different ways*. There also is often more than one cause of certain ailments or symptoms, and these different causes will have different remedies. So if you add omega 3 fatty acids to your diet to try to fix a health problem, and it is not effective, perhaps you either:
1) Did not take enough
2) Are taking a form that is not well absorbed (like fish oil)
3) Are taking enough, but are missing another nutrient
Keep in mind that it is much more difficult to reverse health problems than it is to prevent them in the first place. In addition many disease are caused at least in part by an accumulation of toxins in the body, and removing these toxins and cutting back on your intake of toxins can help. Plus, it took time for you to get sick, and when you are not just getting rid of symptoms, like with drugs, it can take time, sometimes even years. Some Supplements can speed this process along, though, but you will still need to be patient.
